Editorial standards
How we get this right.
Drifting Thresholds publishes guidance on focus, sleep, and the neurodivergent brain. Because that touches people’s wellbeing, we hold the content to a clear standard. This page explains it.
Who writes this
Content is researched and maintained by the Drifting Thresholds editorial team, a project of Euterpia Ltd. We write under the brand rather than a single byline because the standard, not any one person, is what you are trusting.
How we source claims
Where we describe how a sound type affects the brain, we cite the underlying research and link to the original study. We distinguish between what the evidence supports, what is promising but not settled, and what is mostly anecdotal. When the science is mixed, we say so on the page rather than rounding it up into a promise. We would rather lose a sale than overstate a claim.
What we do not do
We do not present this as medical advice, we do not invent credentials or studies, and we do not let an affiliate commission change what we recommend. Product suggestions are chosen for genuine fit with the use case, and our affiliate relationship is disclosed on every page that carries a link.
